Founded by Zahra Hussain Bakhsh, an educated and resilient Afghan woman who herself has faced the challenges of displacement and the complexities of immigration as an international student. While facing challenges as a refugee she continued her studies and with scholarships, Zahra pursued her BA studies in International Relations at the National University of Mongolia. She gained insight into global dynamics and her career led her to work in Afghanistan’s research sector before embarking on a transformative academic journey as a Fulbright Scholar in the United States. Zahra achieved an MA degree focusing on refugees and forced migration. Her commitment to helping refugees and immigrants extends beyond borders, as she worked with Asylum Access Malaysia, aiding those seeking refuge and assistance from the UNHCR. Her dedication culminated in obtaining a second degree in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queens University in Canada.
